Response Academy Overview
Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy is a well-established and highly regarded academy specifically dedicated to industrial emergency response training. The scope of our training encompasses all disciplines of industrial emergency response. Live Industrial fire, HazMat mitigation and product recovery, all forms of technical rescue, high angle rescue, confined space rescue, emergency medical care, incident command, and tactical response.
We offer ProBoard and non-ProBoard certification classes as well as customized training specifically designed for your team and your specific needs. Our instructor staff is comprised of subject matter experts who are still immersed in their subject of expertise. Most all are still members of specialized response teams who stay up to date on the newest equipment, procedures and innovations. Training can be conducted at your plant site, our large training academy, or a combination of both.
The GCERA training facility consist of separate training fields dedicated to specific training disciplines. But it all revolves around our 4 story petro/chemical production complex. The complex is complete with control rooms, a rail and trailer loading area and bulk storage tanks. This complex allows your team to practice responding in a TRUE industrial but safe environment.
We are located along the beautiful Gulf Coast and provide a great location with many amenities nearby to visit and enjoy.
Our goal is to ensure we provide a professional and pleasant training experience that will result in your team being competent and confident in their response capabilities.
